Hello!

Long time no see. (: I thought it was about time that I did some posting on this blog again.

Well, I am obviously not in Mozambique anymore but I did do some travelling this summer. I went on an Interrail where I visited France, Belgium, Holland and the best place of them all KOLDING!

First of all: What is Interrail? Interrail is when you buy a train ticket that you can use in trains all over Europe for a period of time ranging from 7 days to a month (I chose 14 days).

I travelled with my friend from middleschool, Zakiya, and we have the most wonderful time. Travelling by train and only sleeping in tents is very different from the way I’ve been travelling before. I don’t wanna go into too much detail since I’m not writing a novel but I do wanna say that I really love Paris! It’s a great city. It’s funny though because we also visited Dieppe, a much smaller french town, and the difference  was striking. Dieppe was a very nice town but people were, well, country-side’ish. AND to emphasise just how country-side it was: A seagull tried to steal our Trangia ministove.

As mentioned we also visited Belgium and Holland. Belgium was very hot (It was kinda like being back in Mozambique) and Holland was very orange (it was the day of the Soccer World Cup final thing).

Oh yes, I am also in my senior year of highschool now. It’s strange to be so close to the end (of highschool anyway) but also kinda nice. Right now we are doing a project (AT) and my group is writing it on the organization “Stop the Islamization of America”. A very interesting (though slightly horrifying) topic.

Now I will finish ’cause I have to get up tomorrow and continue the project.

We are down to an acceptable weight now. So the plan now is to stay here. It is difficult though… But we will manage
